Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy describes the terms under which BOTANIC LLC (dba Botanic Hair, "Botanic", "we", "us", or "our") ships orders placed through shop.trybotanic.com.
Where We Ship From
All Botanic orders ship from our United States fulfillment warehouse. Our batana oil is cold-pressed in La Moskitia, Honduras, and warehoused in the United States for next-day dispatch.
Processing Time
Orders placed before 12:00pm Eastern Time on a business day are dispatched the same business day. Orders placed after 12:00pm Eastern Time are dispatched the following business day. We do not ship on weekends or U.S. federal holidays; parcels are dispatched the next business day.
Delivery Times and Free-Shipping Thresholds
Estimated delivery times are calculated from the date of dispatch and exclude weekends and holidays. Free-shipping thresholds apply to the merchandise subtotal before taxes and any applicable duties.
- United States — 3–7 business days. Free shipping on orders over $75 USD.
- Canada — 5–10 business days. Free shipping on orders over $100 CAD.
- United Kingdom — 5–10 business days. Free shipping on orders over £60 GBP.
- Australia — 7–14 business days. Free shipping on orders over A$100 AUD.
- Germany, France, Spain, Italy — 7–14 business days. Free shipping on orders over €70 EUR.
- Mexico — 5–10 business days. Free shipping on orders over $1,500 MXN.
- Rest of world — 10–21 business days. Shipping calculated at checkout.
Delivery time estimates are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary based on carrier performance, customs processing, weather, holidays, and other factors beyond our control.
Tracking
You will receive a tracking number by email when your parcel leaves our warehouse. Live tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to begin populating with the carrier. If tracking has not begun updating within 24 hours of dispatch, please email contact@trybotanic.com with your order number.
Carrier Selection
We select the carrier best suited to each destination, which may include USPS, UPS, DHL, or a regional partner. Carrier selection is at our discretion. Customers may request a specific carrier and we will accommodate when reasonably possible.
Customs and Import Duties (International Orders)
Most international parcels clear customs without intervention. Some countries assess import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees on inbound packages. These charges are determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient. We pre-clear export documentation to minimize delays.
Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us because of an address error, refused at delivery, or unclaimed at the destination, the original shipping cost and a $7 USD restocking fee will be deducted from any refund. Alternatively, the order may be reshipped to a corrected address at the customer's expense.
Address Changes After Order Placement
Address change requests must be received within one hour of order placement. After that point, the order may already be in the carrier's possession and any changes must be coordinated directly with the carrier.
Lost or Stolen Packages
If tracking confirms delivery but you did not receive the package, please email contact@trybotanic.com within 14 calendar days of the recorded delivery date. We will open an investigation with the carrier. Most parcels are located within a few business days. If the parcel is not recovered, we will reship at our cost or issue a refund, at your election. Repeated lost-package claims from the same shipping address may require additional verification, including signature confirmation, before further reshipments or refunds are issued.
Damaged Packages
If your parcel arrives damaged, please email a photograph of the package to contact@trybotanic.com within 14 calendar days of delivery. We will ship a replacement at our cost. The damaged item does not need to be returned.
Delays Beyond Our Control
Severe weather, public health events, peak holiday volume, customs holds, and other factors outside our control may extend delivery times beyond the estimates published above. We monitor in-transit parcels and will work with the carrier to resolve material delays. If your parcel is significantly outside of normal delivery times, please contact us and we will assist.
